Maine's Newest Police Officers

Fifty new police officers have graduated from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy in Vassalboro, Maine. The police officers come from a variety of departments at the municipal, county, and state levels. They are required to successfully complete 18 weeks of training to graduate. The topics trained include criminal and traffic law, domestic violence, sexual assault, firearms, first aid, emergency vehicle operation, and other subjects.
